The Hygienitech Australia Process

The scientifically proven Hygienitech Australia’s Mattress Cleaning and Sanitising process is safe, waterless and chemical-free (Green Process). It uses a technologically advanced 3 step procedure to not only effectively kill and remove dust mites, bed bugs, bacteria, viruses, fungal spores, mould and other harmful organisms inhabiting in mattresses and pillows, but also sanitise the mattresses/pillows and prevent dust mites and other harmful microscopic organisms from breeding again for a certain period of time, depending on the usage condition.

Step 1: Remove Dust Mites and their feces, harmful organisms and other contaminated sediments accumulated in the mattress and pillows.

Hygienitech system uses a specially engineered, powerful portable device that generates incredible suction and high frequency pulsating waves, which penetrate deep into your mattress and pillows, to pulverize and extract dead skin flakes, dust, dust mites, dust mite excrement, bed bugs, bacteria, viruses, fungal spores, mould and other bodily fluids sediments that have accumulated in your mattress and pillows. Hygienitech system is equipped with a Micron Magic HEPA Filtration System that captures and retains over 99.7% of household dust, pollen, dust mites and other particles down to 0.3% microns. It also captures and retains 99.5% of particles, spores and bacteria down to 0.1% microns. Unlike a normal vacuum cleaner, Hygienitech device will NOT disturb harmful dirt and contaminants in your house, which might trigger serious allergic reactions.

Hygienitech Mattress Cleaning process does NOT use water/steam. Actually, any form of moisture/steam should be kept away from your mattress. A wet mattress is not only difficult to dry out, but also becomes the perfect breeding ground for dust mites, bacteria and moulds, as these harmful microscopic organisms favour humid conditions.

Please note, Hygienitech Mattress Cleaning process will not remove stains/marks on the mattresses and pillows. If your primary concern is just to get rid of the old stains, not to worry about harmful microscopic organisms in your mattress, then Hygienitech service will not be able to satisfy your need. Stain removal requires steam and chemicals, which are NOT suitable for regularly used mattress (because our skin has direct contact with mattress, and chemicals can cause potential health problems via direct contact). However, if a mattress has been soiled, Hygienitech process can eradicate all bacteria, viruses, fungal spores and mould that may have formed.

Step 2: Eradicate Dust Mites and Other Harmful Organisms.

Simultaneously, Hygienitech system combines the patented germicidal UV-C light* to destroy dust mites, bed bugs, bacteria, viruses, fungal spores, mould and other harmful organisms inhabiting in the mattress and pillows.

Step 3: Neutralize Harmful Allergens

Finally we apply a chemical-free, non-toxic and non-hazardous deodorizing and sanitizing spray (AllerSafe Anti-Allergen Spray). It is made from all-natural plants, which is completely harmless to humans and animals. Once the spray has evaporated (normally in about 10 minutes), you can make the bed and go to sleep.

The entire Hygienitech cleaning process is a waterless and chemical-free process, so there is no odour, no water/steam and no chemical residue. The whole process involves thorough clean of both sides of a mattress in approximately 15-20 minutes. It is safe for any type of mattress.

Free Mattress Hygiene Test

Hygienitech will visit you and carry out a FREE, no-obligation Mattress Hygiene Test to demonstrate the amount of contaminants in a mattress. It only takes about a few minutes of your time. We will use our specially designed equipment to extract a sampling of the contaminants from the mattress. The dirt and debris collected is then deposited on a black test cloth and shown right in front of you (as seen in the photo below). The result will shock you!

As the majority of house dust mites inhabit in mattresses due to the favourable environment, It is important to note that mattress protectors, household disinfectants or frequently laundered bed linens offer little if any protection from the dust mite problem. It takes a scientifically proven system of mattress cleaning and sanitising to attack the ROOT of the dust mite problem and keep it in check.
